ROOFINGANDMORE LLC

is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented estimator experienced in bidding commercial roofing and construction projects through BuildingConnected and plan rooms. This position is focused on reviewing plans, reading specifications, performing takeoffs, communicating with subcontractors/vendors, and preparing accurate proposals for commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations Bid projects through BuildingConnected and other bid platforms Prepare roofing and general construction estimates Coordinate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and project risks Submit proposals before deadlines Work with project managers and ownership on pricing strategy Track bid opportunities and follow-ups

Requirements:

Experience with commercial roofing or general construction estimating Experience using BuildingConnected preferred Ability to read construction plans and specs Knowledge of TPO, torch-down, coatings, sheet metal, and waterproofing is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient with Excel, PDFs, takeoff software, and email communication Self-motivated and deadline driven

Preferred Experience:

Roofing estimating General contractor estimating PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar software Public works or commercial bid experience

Pay:

$25-$45/hour depending on experience OR salary + commission/bonus structure available
