Job Description
The Estimator plays a key role for assessing property damage, preparing detailed estimates, and negotiating insurance settlements. In addition to estimating, this position involves sales and business development, engaging with residential and commercial customers while marketing our services to expand our client base. This hybrid role allows for remote work, with occasional onsite visits as needed. Responsibilities Conduct thorough site inspections of damaged properties, gather field notes, and create detailed estimates using Xactimate software. Negotiate fair and accurate insurance settlements with carriers on a per-project basis. Upload job documentation into Proven Jobs (PJM/PSA) software to facilitate work orders and project budgeting. Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders. Provide regular project updates and address any necessary modifications in scope. Ensure project documentation is current, complete, and properly filed. Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive business growth.
