In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating closely with clients, subcontractors, and project managers. Duties Develop detailed and precise construction estimates by reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents using industry-standard software. Conduct thorough site visits to gather on-the-ground insights that influence accurate pricing and risk assessment. Collaborate with clients, general contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to negotiate costs, terms, and contracts that benefit all parties involved. Analyze project scopes to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost control measures throughout the bidding process. Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that clearly outline scope of work, pricing strategies, and timelines. Assist in managing contract negotiations and ensuring all contractual obligations are met with clarity and transparency. Support project management teams by providing accurate estimates that align with project budgets and schedules. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating software. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with clients and general contractors. Solid understanding of construction processes, site operations, and construction management principles. Expertise in cost control techniques to monitor budgets effectively throughout project lifecycles. Knowledge of contracts law and the ability to interpret contractual documents accurately. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Hands-on construction site experience to better understand field conditions impacting estimates.
