In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project plans, and collaborating with clients and subcontractors to develop competitive bids. Your expertise will ensure that projects are financially viable, efficiently managed, and completed on time. Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive construction estimates Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare detailed cost proposals Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground information and assess project scope Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to negotiate pricing and terms Prepare bid packages, including scope of work, pricing, and contractual documents Monitor project budgets throughout the bidding process to ensure accuracy and competitiveness Assist in contract negotiations and review contractual obligations related to costs and scope Support project managers with cost control strategies during project execution Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, and project documentation for future reference Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and site operations Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is highly desirable Solid knowledge of construction management principles, contracts, and project management practices Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors Strong analytical skills for accurate cost analysis and risk assessment Hands-on construction site experience is a plus for understanding practical project challenges Ability to interpret complex plans, specifications, and technical documents with precision Effective communication skills to clearly present estimates and negotiate terms with stakeholders Join us as a Construction Estimator where your expertise will shape successful projects that stand out for quality, efficiency, and value.
