We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Electrical Estimator who takes pride in accuracy, reliability, and delivering high-quality estimates. Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimator with a minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical estimating. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive electrical cost estimates. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, professional in appearance and communication, and committed to delivering high-quality estimates that support successful project planning and execution. This position will be fully remote through the end of the year, transitioning to a 50/50 hybrid schedule thereafter, with the expectation of becoming fully in-person at a later stage. Duties Review and analyze bid documents, electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications. Analyze blueprints to determine conduit/wire lengths, material requirements, and code-compliant equipment placement. Perform material and labor takeoffs based on project plans, specifications, and site requirements. Determine labor needs, material quantities, fixture types, and overall project cost. Maintain and update cost databases to reflect changes in labor and material pricing. Assess feasibility of in-house fabrication versus subcontracted work. Evaluate project profitability and provide cost-effective, value-engineered solutions. Prepare detailed estimates and submit competitive bids in accordance with company guidelines. Prepare and submit submittal packages as required. Prepare and manage project schedules and plans for field crews. Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to communicate project progress, issues, and expectations. Ensure projects are completed according to plan and specification requirements. Required Qualifications Minimum 6 years of electrical construction estimating experience. Completion of a postsecondary electrician training program. Strong ability to interpret electrical blueprints.

Proficiency with industry-standard tools:

McCormick, RS Means, NECA MLU (or equivalent) Bluebeam, Enterprise Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organization, communication, and customer service abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to travel locally for bid walkthroughs.
