Position Summary The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for developing detailed and competitive estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, proficiency in estimating software (Trimble/Accubid), and the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Responsibilities Prepare estimates for commercial & industrial projects Review drawings/specs and perform takeoffs Build and manage project budgets through bid Write scope letters and proposals Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Vendors, and Subs Solicit and compare vendor/sub pricing Attend pre-bid and design meetings Ensure compliance with NEC and project requirements Support value engineering and cost-saving efforts Desired Qualifications 2+ years of electrical estimating experience (commercial and/or industrial) Proficiency with Trimble/Accubid estimating software Strong understanding of electrical systems and NEC codes Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience performing quantity takeoffs and cost estimates Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines Must have a high school diploma, GED equivalent, or greater educational diplomacy.
