Job Description

Weston & Sampson is seeking an experienced Aquatics Estimator who analyzes fiscal requirements including staffing, equipment, and prepares budgetary recommendations and adequate safeguards to monitor, verify, and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds at the start of the project with the Construction Manager. This role will sit out of our Wilmington, MA office but can be remote depending on the right candidate. What you'll do: Responsible for estimating, bidding, and coordinating of bid documents, cost take-offs, scheduling, job cost analysis and data storage and retrieval. This position requires contact of vendors, sub-consultants and clients. Responsible for obtaining and reviewing quotes from vendors, sub-consultants and suppliers to ensure conformance to the contract document requirements. Contracts will range in price and scope from $10,000 to $3,000,000. Clients are both private and municipal and projects involve construction and upgrades to water and wastewater collection, distribution and treatment equipment. What you'll bring: Bachelors degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field. The position may be held by a non-degree or non-registered person, or by a person holding a degree in another field, provided that the experience required below is adequately met. Proven track record with construction aquatics cost estimating. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel. Valid Driver's License. Pay Range:
$100,000-$150,000 annually depending on experience #
