Paint Estimator - Canyon Painting Sedona & Verde Valley | Full-Time |

Sedona & Verde Valley area At Canyon Painting, we're not looking for someone to just "write estimates." We're looking for someone who can walk into a project, build trust with clients, communicate professionally, and create accurate, organized scopes that help projects run smoothly from start to finish. This role is a key part of our company's growth. If you're someone who notices details others miss, communicates clearly, takes pride in your work, and knows how to balance customer experience with operational accuracy — keep reading. What You'll Own As an Estimator, you are often the first in-person experience clients have with Canyon Painting. How you communicate, carry yourself, and manage details matters.
You will:
Meet with residential and commercial clients on-site Measure and assess painting projects accurately Build detailed estimates and proposals Communicate project scope, timelines, and expectations clearly Coordinate with production teams and project managers Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents Follow up on estimates and maintain organized records Build long-term relationships with homeowners, contractors, and property managers Help projects start strong through proactive communication and planning This is not a passive role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and professionalism Excellent communication and customer service skills Organized and dependable under pressure Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once Strong math, measuring, and problem-solving skills Comfortable learning and using estimating software and technology Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Someone who represents the company well in client homes and job sites Preferred Experience Experience in painting, construction estimating, or related trades Residential and/or commercial painting knowledge Blueprint and specification reading Sales or client-facing construction experience Estimating software experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What This Role Can Become We believe in promoting from within.
