About the Role Diligene is hiring an experienced Estimator to support owners, contractors, and program managers on complex infrastructure and capital construction projects. You will own the estimating process from conceptual ROM estimates through final hard-bid pricing, leveraging takeoffs, historical data, and market intelligence to produce defensible, decision-ready cost estimates. Key Responsibilities Prepare conceptual (Class 5/4), budgetary (Class 3), and definitive (Class 2/1) estimates per AACE International recommended practices Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications using On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or equivalent Price direct costs (labor, material, equipment) and indirect costs (general conditions, overhead, fee, escalation, contingency) Solicit, level, and incorporate subcontractor and vendor quotes Develop work breakdown structures, basis-of-estimate documents, and assumption/exclusion logs Support value engineering, alternative analysis, and constructability reviews Apply risk-adjusted contingency using deterministic and probabilistic methods Maintain unit-cost databases and historical benchmarks for future estimates Required Qualifications 5+ years of construction estimating experience on infrastructure or capital programs Proficiency with estimating tools such as Sage Estimating, HCSS HeavyBid, WinEst, or RSMeans Strong takeoff experience using On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam Revu, or PlanSwift Working knowledge of AACE International cost estimate classification system Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

AACEI CEP

(Certified Estimating Professional), ASPE CPE, or equivalent certification is a plus Nice to Have Experience on transit, aviation, water/wastewater, or public infrastructure programs Familiarity with parametric and conceptual modeling tools (e.g., CostX, Cleopatra) Exposure to integrated cost-and-schedule risk analysis (ICSRA)

$80.00 - $85.00 per hour
