Part-Time Dispensary Technician / Security (Hybrid Role)

CREAM is a modern cannabis dispensary located in Jersey City, focused on premium products, education, and a hospitality-driven customer experience. We believe every interaction matters, and every team member plays a role in creating a welcoming, professional environment. We are currently hiring for a Part-Time Hybrid Role that combines responsibilities of both a Dispensary Technician and a Security Officer . This position is ideal for someone who is adaptable, customer-focused, and comfortable working both on the sales floor and at the front entrance. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to shift between responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome customers with a friendly, professional attitude Verify IDs and ensure all guests meet legal age requirements (21+) Assist customers with product selection using strong product knowledge Process transactions and handle cash through the point-of-sale system Maintain a secure and welcoming environment at the entrance Monitor customer flow and assist with line control during busy periods Support inventory tasks, including restocking and organization Communicate effectively with team members and management De-escalate situations calmly and professionally when needed

Requirements:

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment Ability to multitask and adapt between different responsibilities Dependable, punctual, and professional Comfortable standing for extended periods Must be 21 years or older Preferred (Not Required): Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service Prior security or dispensary experience

Part-time Must have availability for evenings and weekends Store hours:

Monday-Thursday:

9:00 AM•10:00

PM Friday-Sunday:

9:00 AM•11:00

$20.00•$22.00 per hour
