Fully remote position with flexibility to work anywhere along the East Coast Over 30 years of consistent federal construction experience About Our Client The employer is a well-established business services company specializing in construction projects within the federal sector. Job Description Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for federal construction projects. Manage the end-to-end proposal process, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with federal requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary project information and data. Conduct market research to analyze pricing trends and competitive benchmarks. Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope and requirements. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Prepare and present cost analysis and proposal documents to stakeholders. Ensure adherence to federal regulations and guidelines throughout the proposal process. The Successful Applicant A successful Proposal Manager / Estimator should have: A strong understanding of federal construction project requirements and regulations. Proven experience in proposal management and cost estimating within the construction industry. Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare and present proposals. Proficiency in relevant software tools for estimating and proposal development.
