Position Overview The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for electrical construction projects. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and costs, ensuring that projects are competitively priced and financially viable. The estimator will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop detailed proposals that meet project specifications and timelines.
Compensation:
Up to $150k base DOE + bonuses Key Responsibilities Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work and requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and equipment. Analyze and interpret project documentation to identify potential issues and recommend solutions. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates. Maintain a database of costs for materials, labor rates, and equipment rental. Monitor industry trends and changes in pricing to provide competitive estimates. Participate in bid meetings and present estimates to clients and stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred. Proven experience as an estimator in the industrial electrical industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and materials. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
