Senior Estimator

Posted May 22, 2026 We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to support preconstruction efforts and deliver accurate, competitive pricing across a diverse portfolio of construction projects. This role will play a critical part in securing new work by developing detailed estimates, analyzing project risks, and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates from conceptual through final design phases
Analyze plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop complete and accurate bids
Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipment
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams during preconstruction
Assist in developing budgets, scopes, and schedules
Support bid reviews, presentations, and client interviews
Evaluate project risks, constructability issues, and logistics challenges
Maintain current knowledge of market conditions, material costs, and labor trends Qualifications 5-10+ years of construction estimating experience
Proven experience estimating commercial, healthcare, industrial, or multifamily projects
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and systems
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Proficiency in estimating software (Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or similar)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
