Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Xactimate Construction Estimator to join our team here at Response Flood & Fire. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating, project management, and cost control. If you have a passion for negotiating contracts and ensuring projects are completed within budget, we want to hear from you. Job Responsibilities
- Utilize Xactimate software to prepare accurate estimates for reconstruction projects
- Analyze project specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project timelines and requirements
- Negotiate with insurance adjusters to come to agreed upon scope (initial estimate, supplements, etc.) Not program work.
- Schedule and perform on-site walkthroughs with homeowners (and adjusters)
- Write estimates for all scopes of work from small to large loss jobs
- Ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques
- Ability to price, build, and manage reconstruction projects effectively
- Knowledge of cost control methods in the construction industry
- Excellent negotiation skills for contract agreements
