Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Xactimate Construction Estimator to join our team here at Response Flood & Fire. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating, project management, and cost control. If you have a passion for negotiating contracts and ensuring projects are completed within budget, we want to hear from you. Job Responsibilities
Utilize Xactimate software to prepare accurate estimates for reconstruction projects
Analyze project specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
Collaborate with project managers to understand project timelines and requirements
Negotiate with insurance adjusters to come to agreed upon scope (initial estimate, supplements, etc.) Not program work.
Schedule and perform on-site walkthroughs with homeowners (and adjusters)
Write estimates for all scopes of work from small to large loss jobs
Ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions Requirements
Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques
Ability to price, build, and manage reconstruction projects effectively
Knowledge of cost control methods in the construction industry
Excellent negotiation skills for contract agreements
