Full-Time Position Overview Bachner Electro USA is seeking an experienced Security Estimator to join our team in Duncan, South Carolina. This position is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals for electronic security and access control system installations across commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate has strong experience in electronic security systems estimating , understands system design requirements, and can collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop competitive and accurate proposals. Key Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents for electronic security system installations Perform detailed system takeoffs using Bluebeam Revu Prepare accurate cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing Develop competitive bid proposals and project budgets Quantify and estimate security system components such as door readers, control panels, cameras, and associated infrastructure Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for pricing, system design, and product selection Participate in pre-bid meetings and project walkthroughs Work closely with project managers and engineering teams during project handoff after award Maintain estimating records and track bid outcomes Qualifications Required 3-5+ years' experience estimating electronic security systems Strong understanding of: Electronic security systems Access control systems Door hardware integration Network-based security systems Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu for digital takeoffs and plan review Experience reading construction drawings and specifications Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred Experience with systems such as: Lenel Genetec Software House Avigilon Honeywell Experience estimating in commercial or industrial construction environments Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities within a growing electrical and technology contractor Work Environment Office-based role in Duncan, SC Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and field teams Occasional site visits for project walkthroughs
