If estimates/bids are awarded, generate detailed submittals for contractor and architect review and approval for materials used during construction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Receiving and processing emails for estimates/bids and corresponding with contractors during the entire process. Estimating
- Follow up with contractors on open estimates/bids to determine success rate and gather data for future bids and markup margins. Estimating
- If project is awarded to estimator, verify all entries and files in computer are accurate and reflect what was awarded. Detailing
- Verify all scheduled material matches/meets the plans and specifications for the project. Detailing
- Verify all pricing of scheduled materials is correct and obtain quotations if not correct. Detailing
- Generate submittals reflecting scheduled material for the project.

Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or zero to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Competency with Microsoft Office Suite. Competency with Comsense (Company-specific operating system)
