Capital Disaster Solutions is seeking a highly organized, detail‑driven Project Manager / Xactimate Estimator to oversee mitigation and construction projects from start to finish while producing accurate, timely estimates. This dual role ensures projects are scoped correctly, budgets are maintained, timelines are met, and communication stays consistent across clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management Receive and review the
New Handoff:
Sales to Project Manager form and create new projects in Proven Jobs. Request asbestos reports prior to estimating or starting any mitigation/construction project. Obtain Work Authorization, proposals, contracts, and required permits. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets using Proven Jobs. Send welcome emails and maintain daily client communication through Proven Jobs Notes. Schedule site walks with subcontractors or CDS team; verify completed areas match scope. Utilize Encircle to monitor, analyze, and report hydro-related data. Document completed work, manage change orders, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Complete sub trade Work Orders, Certificate of Completion signatures, and Final Photo Reports. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure profit margins are met. Estimating (Xactimate) Receive project details from Sales and Project Manager; create detailed cost estimates using Xactimate. Analyze plans, scopes, and specifications to determine labor, material, and equipment costs. Request asbestos reports and required documentation before estimating. Develop full cost breakdowns, timelines, and budgets in Xactimate and export into Proven Jobs. Schedule site visits with subcontractors or CDS team to validate estimates. Collaborate with Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure estimates align with scope and timelines. Provide cost reports and updates to CDS management. Support Sales with lead generation and fire notifications when estimating workflow slows. Client & Team Communication Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Provide daily updates to clients and CDS management via Proven Jobs Notes. Conduct post‑project evaluations, send surveys, and ensure customer satisfaction. Send thank‑you emails at project completion and ensure full balance is collected. Uphold company dress code and maintain a professional appearance. Qualifications Strong experience in mitigation, restoration, or construction project management. Proficiency in Xactimate required. Familiarity with Proven Jobs , Encircle , moisture meters, and hydro data preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and timelines simultaneously. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites.
