Construction Estimator Commercial

Construction Estimator (HeavyBid) - Construction Tomball, TX We are currently partnering with a growing construction company in the Tomball area that is looking to add an experienced Construction Estimator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in vertical construction and hands-on experience with HeavyBid who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. What You'll Be Doing:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates using HeavyBid Review and analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing strategies Gather and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams Identify cost risks and opportunities for value engineering Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing Participate in pre-bid meetings and assist with proposal submissions

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of construction estimating experience Strong experience with HeavyBid (required) Background in vertical construction (commercial or large-scale projects) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and labor costs Proficiency in Excel and estimating tools Strong organizational and communication skills Nice to

Have:

Experience with large commercial construction projects Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (not required)

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
