Job Description Job Description Job Description Residential Construction Estimator Anderson Remodeling is seeking a dependable, professional, and motivated Construction Estimator to join our team. This position includes both field and office work and focuses on residential remodeling and light residential construction. Responsibilities Meet with customers at homes and project locations to review proposed work. Take accurate measurements, photos, notes, and project information. Evaluate labor, materials, and construction processes needed for each project. Assist with preparing estimates and proposals. Identify potential construction concerns before work begins. Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, office staff, and management. Use an iPad and computer to document project information and complete estimating tasks. Maintain organized and accurate project records. Follow company estimating procedures. Work under supervision during training and independently once training is completed. Qualifications Construction knowledge is required. Applicants should have a working understanding of residential remodeling, light construction, construction materials, and the general order in which construction work is completed. Knowledge of areas such as framing, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, tile, kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows, and basic plumbing and electrical processes is preferred.

Have basic math and measurement skills. Have basic typing and computer skills. Be comfortable using iPads, Google Chrome, Gmail, digital photos, online documents, and forms . Be willing and able to learn new company programs and systems. Speak and understand English. Communicate clearly and professionally. Be organized, dependable, and able to follow instructions. Be comfortable receiving supervision, feedback, and correction during training. Be able to work independently after completing training. Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Be comfortable traveling to customer homes, jobsites, and the office. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but is not required. Professional Expectations This is a customer-facing position. Applicants must maintain a clean, professional, and job-ready appearance and wear construction-appropriate business casual attire . We are looking for someone who: Comes to work prepared and ready to perform each day. Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Demonstrates honesty, dependability, and good character. Treats customers, coworkers, subcontractors, and management respectfully. Represents Anderson Remodeling professionally in customers' homes and on jobsites. This is not a desk-only estimating position . Applicants must be comfortable working in active construction environments, meeting with customers, taking measurements in the field, and completing estimating and administrative work in the office. Training will be provided on Anderson Remodeling's estimating procedures, documentation, technology, and company processes. Men and women are encouraged to apply.
