Job Description
Chaparral is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Heat Trace Designer to join our Heat Trace division. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with multiple teams to support project success. Responsibilities Estimate and design Heat Trace projects Review drawings and perform takeoffs for Heat Trace requirements Analyze plan documents, specifications, and related data Mark up specifications as needed Assist with layout and component location Collaborate with estimating teams to determine proper components Perform data entry for estimates and projects Support the Heat Trace Design Group as needed Qualifications Self-starter with a strong willingness to learn Good problem-solving and effective listening skills Strong time management and organizational skills High attention to detail Proficiency with computers and basic drafting skills Knowledge of Excel, Word, Bluebeam Basic electrical knowledge Ability to learn new programs quickly Ability to work well independently and within a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Employment/Affirmative Action employer.
