Job Description

Fabrication Estimator We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Estimator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for reviewing customer RFQs, interpreting drawings and specifications, preparing accurate quotations, and serving as a contact for customers.
Responsibilities:
Review RFQs, drawings, and specifications Prepare accurate, timely cost estimates and quotations Communicate with customers regarding pricing, lead times, and project requirements Coordinate with production, purchasing, and engineering teams Identify manufacturing challenges and recommend practical solutions
Qualifications:
Experience in metal fabrication, welding, and machining. Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, tolerances, and GD&T Strong understanding of fabrication processes including cutting, forming, welding, machining, and assembly Basic knowledge of carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and common steel processing methods Understanding of material capabilities, limitations, and manufacturability Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP experience a plus) Excellent communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Must demonstrate determination, accountability and respect
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
