This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of construction processes. Responsibilities Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop comprehensive project budgets. Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Utilize construction estimating software such as Bluebeam, ProContractor for efficient cost analysis. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on estimated costs for review by management. Skills Proficient in construction estimating techniques and methodologies, and basic mathematics. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate for the best pricing options. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information.
