Organize, update and submit prequalification data as requiredPrepare quantity take-offs for self-perform work and input to pricing sheetEstimate costs of goods or servicesConfer with personnel to coordinate business operationsCreate and maintain organized estimate filesMaintain data in information systems or databasesAnalyze business financial dataPrepare financial documents as instructedSupport estimators as requiredPerforms all other duties as assigned How You Contribute Perform thorough, detailed and accurate analysis on all assignmentsAccurately enter data and track information in ViewPoint and other project tracking systemsCommunicate effectively in written and verbal communications to ensure understanding of estimates in the bid process, with project managers as well as with vendors/sub-contractorsUtilize strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure project information is complete, well ordered and finished according to standardsBe able to accept constructive criticism and deal effectively with high-stress situation Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, Building Science or other equivalent program is preferredOne to two years of similar experience including internships or working with another general contractor in the construction industry is required
