This position requires the ability to read construction plans and specifications, work in a fast-paced environment, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project documents. Assist estimators with quantity takeoffs and project estimates. Order tile, flooring, and installation materials for projects. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and lead times. Prepare and submit material submittals and project documentation. Answer phone calls and assist customers, vendors, and general contractors. Track and follow up on material deliveries and project schedules. Maintain organized project files and documentation. Assist estimators and project managers with ongoing and upcoming projects. Communicate effectively with field personnel, suppliers, and clients. Perform general office and administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications Required:
Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications. Fluent in English (written and verbal). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines. Fast learner with a strong work ethic. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience in the construction industry. Knows how to use Bluebeam. Knowledge of tile, flooring, and installation materials. Experience ordering construction materials. Experience preparing submittals and project documentation. Familiarity with estimating software and construction management systems. Work Environment This position operates in a fast-paced construction environment where meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects is essential. The successful candidate must be able to stay organized, communicate effectively, and perform efficiently under pressure. Compensation Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Schedule Full Time 8:00 AM - 4:30
PM Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
