Full-time Job Description :
We are looking for a Piping Estimator who would be responsible for providing complete estimates and proposal preparations for services included in welded pipe operations for new projects, continuing projects, and pricing revisions. Estimates are for multiple industries such as, refineries, pipelines/pumping stations, electrical power generation stations, water works, etc.
Job Functions :
Review isometric drawings, proposal specifications, technical data, and welding processes to provide pricing for labor and materials in a highly professional proposal to clients. Analyze technical data and summarize for upper management. Work with a new computerized estimating process designed especially for the piping industry. Provide quick estimates under occasional heavy workloads.
Qualifications :
Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new computer software related to the piping industry. Experience and previous knowledge of the piping industry, petrochemical, power, water, or general construction industry is a plus. Ability to work in office settings and learn from Sr. Estimator quickly. Experience in all MS Office products and the ability to learn new software quickly. Work overtime if necessary to complete bids with a short deadline or due date. Work with multiple departments to complete each project with precision and efficiency. Maintain time management and be able to prioritize while multitasking.

Do have experience with CAD Drawings, blueprints, and performing take-offs for creating an accurate bill of materials? Do you have an Associate's degree, equivalent trade background, or 1-3 years of experience in estimating, construction, fabrication, or a related field? Do you have experience supporting senior estimators or project teams?
