About Us DMV Restorations is a full-service restoration, remodeling, and renovation company serving Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. We help property owners, managers, and insurance clients recover from water, fire, mold, and storm damage. We're growing, and we need an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to lead jobs from first inspection to final walkthrough. The Role You'll own restoration projects from start to finish. You'll inspect losses, write accurate estimates in Xactimate, work with adjusters, schedule crews and subcontractors, and deliver quality work on time and on budget. What You'll Do Inspect damaged properties and document scope with photos, moisture readings, and measurements Write detailed, defensible estimates in Xactimate for mitigation and reconstruction Communicate with insurance adjusters, TPAs, and property owners to negotiate scope and get approvals Manage multiple projects at once: scheduling, budgets, materials, and timelines Coordinate and supervise technicians, field supervisors, and subcontractors Conduct site visits for quality control and safety compliance Keep customers updated from start to completion Submit supplements, change orders, and final invoicing documentation Keep job files and project management software current What You Bring Required 5+ years in property restoration or insurance repair , with direct estimating and project management experience Advanced Xactimate proficiency is required IICRC certification(s) , such as WRT, ASD, and/or
AMRT TPA
experience , with platforms such as Contractor Connection, AccuServe, Westhill, or LionsBridge, including their estimating guidelines, documentation standards, and approval workflows Strong knowledge of drying science, psychrometrics, and
IICRC S500/S520
standards Experience with air quality testing and interpreting the results Comfort responding to after-hours emergencies as a regular part of the job Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation Physical Requirements Active loss sites can be wet, confined, or contaminated. You'll need to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs, and wear PPE (respirator, Tyvek, gloves) as needed. Daily local travel to job sites is required, with occasional regional travel for large loss events.
Pay:
$95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
