Restoration Project Manager/Estimator DMV Restorations, Inc. - Manassas, VA About Us DMV Restorations, Inc. is a full-service restoration, remodeling, and renovation company serving Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. We help homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, and storm damage — restoring properties and peace of mind. We're growing and looking for an experienced Restoration Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. About the Role The Restoration Project Manager/Estimator owns projects from initial inspection through final walkthrough. You'll scope losses, write accurate estimates, negotiate with insurance adjusters, and manage crews and subcontractors to deliver quality work on time and on budget. This is a client-facing role that requires strong technical knowledge, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple active projects. What You'll Do Perform on-site inspections and damage assessments for water, fire, mold, and storm losses Write detailed, accurate estimates using Xactimate and negotiate scope with insurance carriers and adjusters Manage projects from start to completion, including scheduling crews, ordering materials, and coordinating subcontractors Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, property managers, and adjusters throughout the project Monitor budgets, track change orders, and ensure jobs are completed profitably Conduct quality control checks and final walkthroughs Document projects thoroughly (photos, moisture readings, daily logs) in company software Ensure all work complies with IICRC standards, building codes, and safety requirements What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in restoration project management and/or estimating Proficiency in Xactimate (required) Working knowledge of water mitigation, fire/smoke restoration, and reconstruction processes IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, or FSRT) preferred Experience negotiating with insurance adjusters Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus What We Offer Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Paid time off and holidays Health benefits Growth opportunities within a family of companies Supportive, team-oriented culture
