Jr. Rigging Estimator

A&A Transfer (An MEI Company) is actively searching for a self-motivated and eager to learn Junior Estimator that is ready to break into the construction industry. As a Junior Estimator, you will gain invaluable insight to many components of the construction industry while working with a dedicated team of professionals. Essential Functions Read and comprehend project documents Interpret job requirements provided by salesmen Quantify job components and apply costs Produce timely job cost spreadsheets Determine method of procedure for moving heavy equipment Analyze multiple options for any given job requirement Work with other estimators and project personnel to determine optimal solutions Compose project plans including crane lift plans and rigging plans Identify project safety hazards that must be accounted for Work with other estimators to prepare and deliver estimate package Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, outlook) Thorough understanding of basic math Highly organized, efficient, detail oriented, and accurate Ability to work independently as well as within a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and complete in a timely manner Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative Minimum Preferred Qualifications High school diploma + 2 years construction experience, or Bachelor's Degree Company Benefits Health, Vision and Dental Insurance 401K Retirement Account with Company Match Accumulated Vacation Paid Holidays Bonus Program Monday - Friday
