full-time Company Description Logapps is currently seeking a FT Cost Analyst with experience developing estimates for the Federal Government. This position supports a Federal agency that is responsible for implementing large-scale Information Technology programs . Cost estimates support the agency's budget planning process, procurements, technical decisions, as well as project and portfolio go/no-go decisions Role Description The Cost Estimator is a full-time virtual position . Candidate will develop cost estimates using a variety of techniques, including statistical modeling, parametric analysis, engineering build up, and analogy Communicate with and gather information from Program Managers, technical subject matter experts, and other members of the Program Management Office. Develop cost and budget models using MS Excel and ACEIT Document analysis findings in MS PowerPoint presentations and MS Word document Qualifications 5 to 10 years of work experience in acquisition with at least 3 years of experience in cost estimation supporting federal government IT or Weapon System programs
PCEA/CCEA
preferred ACEIT experience preferred Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college. Business or STEM-related field is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, table construction, advanced functions, lookups, and filters Sound analysis, research, and fact-finding capabilities Basic business writing skills Presentation and communication skills Ability to work both as a member of a team and independently
