Position Overview:
The Roofing Estimator will be responsible for evaluating roofing project requirements, preparing accurate and competitive estimates, and supporting the sales and production teams in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This role requires someone who is not only technically skilled but also personable and professional when interacting with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site inspections to assess project requirements and roof conditions Measure roofs and gather necessary data for accurate estimates Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for roofing projects (materials, labor, equipment, etc.) Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients through clear, friendly, and honest communication Collaborate with sales and project managers to ensure smooth project planning Review blueprints, specifications, and other documents as needed Stay current on roofing materials, industry standards, and local building codes
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a roofing estimator or in a related construction estimating role preferred Strong knowledge of roofing systems (shingle, metal, flat, etc.) Personable and professional with strong communication and customer service skills Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Why Work With Us?
