  • 140,000 A reputable heavy civil contractor in Northern Virginia is seeking a Heavy Civil Estimator to support ongoing growth in site development and infrastructure work.
Key Qualifications 3+ years of heavy civil or site development estimating experience Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software (HCSS, Agtek, Bluebeam, or similar) Ability to read civil drawings and perform accurate quantity takeoffs Strong analytical and organizational skills Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil/site projects Perform quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, and related scopes Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier pricing Analyze plans and specifications and assist with bid strategy Benefits Competitive pay and bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match PTO and paid holidays Long‑term stability with a strong project backlog
