We're looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator / Project Manager who can read plans, build a detailed bid, win the job, and then run it through closeout. You'll bid and manage work for the U.S. Navy, the Port of Virginia, Dominion Energy, Norfolk Southern, Newport News Shipbuilding, and BAE Systems. A field team you can trust. Our 125-150 field electricians are all 5-year apprenticeship graduates, and our certified splicers work up to 35kV. What You'll Do Estimating Review drawings, specifications, and addenda; perform takeoffs and define scope Build complete estimates covering labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs Gather and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes, and submit competitive bids on time Project Management Run awarded jobs from turnover to closeout, including buyout, submittals, schedule of values, and procurement Track cost, schedule, and change orders; manage monthly billing and closeout packages Serve as the main point of contact for customers, general contractors, suppliers, and our field leaders What You Need At least 2 years of commercial or industrial electrical estimating experience, with 5+ years strongly preferred Strong ability to read electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents Excellent organization and comfort juggling multiple bids and active projects at once Clear communication with customers, vendors, field crews, and the office Reliable transportation to the office and local jobsites Nice to Have Medium-voltage experience Hands-on project management experience with change orders, billing, and closeout Estimating software experience (Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar) Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid vacation Paid holidays Project success bonus Work Environment This role is office-based with regular jobsite visits.
