Elyon Construction Position Summary Elyon Construction is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, attending client and project meetings, conducting job site visits, and supporting the bidding process for commercial roofing projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow with the company and play a key role in expanding our commercial roofing division. Key Responsibilities Review plans, specifications, and bid documents for commercial roofing projects. Prepare accurate material, labor, and equipment estimates. Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather project information. Attend pre-bid meetings, project meetings, and client consultations as needed. Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare and submit proposals and bid packages. Coordinate with project managers and field personnel during project planning and execution. Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation. Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors. Assist with project handoff and provide support throughout the construction process. Qualifications Experience in commercial roofing estimating, construction estimating, roofing sales, or project management preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Schedule Part-time position (approximately 15-30 hours per week). Local travel required for meetings and job site visits.
