In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a commercial construction project, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Your expertise will help drive project success from initial bidding through to project completion, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional construction solutions. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and bid documents with precision and clarity. Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and pricing analysis for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while fostering strong professional relationships. Collaborate closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure estimates align with project scope, schedule, and budget expectations. Assist in reviewing contracts, change orders, and scope modifications to control costs and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Support cost control efforts by monitoring project expenses and providing insights for budget adjustments as needed. Skills Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors. Solid understanding of construction processes, site management, and contract administration within commercial projects. Excellent knowledge of cost control techniques, pricing strategies, and project management principles. Hands-on construction site experience that provides practical insight into field operations and project execution. Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents effectively. Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
