Job Description

Outside Sales — Foundation Repair Inspector/Estimator Robbins and Co - 3.3 Burien, WA Job Details Full-time $120,000 - $180,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Company car Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Construction sales Pricing Driver's License Presentation skills Field sales In-home experience Closing sales Full Job Description Outside Sales — Foundation Repair Inspector/Estimator Robbins Foundation Systems | Burien, WA | Serving King, Pierce & Snohomish Counties $120,000-$180,000 first-year earnings potential | Commission tiers up to 10% | Paid training Sell for a company homeowners already trust Robbins Foundation Systems has been repairing foundations in the Puget Sound area since 1952. Not a franchise. Not private equity. Not a national roll-up with a call center and a quota board. A local, family-owned company with 70+ years of reputation, 5,000+ completed projects, and customers who call us because their neighbor did. If you're good at in-home sales, you know what that reputation is worth when you're sitting at a kitchen table. The trust is already half-built before you knock on the door. Your job is to inspect the problem honestly, design the right fix, and ask for the business. What the job is You'll run pre-set appointments with homeowners who have foundation settling, drainage, or concrete problems. You inspect the home, diagnose the issue, build the proposal on-site, present the price, and close. This is a one-to-two-hour in-home appointment with an average ticket in the five figures. Company-provided leads from an established marketing engine — Google, TV, and 70 years of word of mouth. You sell; we fill the calendar. You'll build proposals on our in-house software with drawings and pricing generated on-site — a professional proposal in the customer's hands before you leave the driveway, not three days later. We sell what the house actually needs. No pressure quotas that push you to oversell. Our reputation is the whole business, and it's why closing here is easier than where you are now. How you're paid Commission tiers from 7% up to 10% of sold contract value, uncapped. Our lead flow supports $140K+ for a proven closer — that's arithmetic, not a promise. $25/hr guaranteed for your first 90 days while you train, plus commission from your very first sale stacked on top of your hourly — never deducted from it, never paid back. 100% company-paid medical, dental, and life insurance, plus a
SIMPLE IRA
with company match. Ask the last commission sales job you interviewed with if they'll match that. Company vehicle for your appointments , dispatched from our Burien office, plus phone and all tools and software provided. 5-10 pre-set appointments per week. We publish our lead commitment because we can keep it — and we publish our ramp expectations too: 20%+ close rate by day 90. If you're a real closer, that reads as easy. Who we're looking for You do not need foundation repair experience. We can teach you piers, drainage, and slab jacking in 90 days. We cannot teach you to be comfortable asking a homeowner for $25,000. That part you bring. 2+ years of in-home / outside sales closing experience — roofing, windows, HVAC, solar, remodeling, pest control, or foundation/waterproofing all translate directly A track record you can show us: appointments run, closing ratio, average ticket. Real closers know their numbers. Comfortable presenting five-figure prices and asking for the signature same-day Clean driving record; able to crawl under a house and read a tape measure Honest. Non-negotiable. Our name has been on trucks in this area since Eisenhower was president, and it's staying clean.
Player-coaches:
if you've built and led an in-home sales team — hired reps, trained them, and still carried your own bag — we have a sales leadership path. Tell us about the team you built and what your producers did under you. Why reps leave the big national brands for us We hear the same things from every rep who's worked for the roll-ups: quota pressure to sell jobs the house doesn't need, commission plans that get "restructured" after every acquisition, and a manager reading a dashboard in another state. Here, you'll work directly with the owner, sell honest work backed by a real local reputation, and keep what you close. How to apply Send your resume along with a short note answering one question: What was your closing ratio and average ticket at your last sales job? Applications that skip the question get skipped.
