In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating closely with clients, suppliers, and project managers to ensure successful project execution. Your expertise will help drive profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency across both commercial and residential construction projects. • Managed contracts and supported estimating through scope reviews, quantity takeoffs, and pricing.
• Led subcontractor outreach and confirmed scope coverage.
• Built and maintained buyout logs to track procurement and budgets.
• Facilitated pre-construction meetings and coordinated across teams.
• Identified and resolved scope gaps before construction.
• Managed OAC communications and prepared meeting materials Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to develop precise cost estimates for commercial and residential construction projects.

Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare detailed bids, proposals, and cost analyses. Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground information, assess site conditions, and verify quantities for accurate pricing. Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams through negotiation to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms. Manage cost control throughout the project lifecycle by monitoring budgets, tracking expenses, and adjusting estimates as needed. Prepare comprehensive bid packages that include scope of work, pricing breakdowns, and contractual terms aligned with project requirements. Assist in contract review and administration to ensure compliance with project specifications and legal standards. Support project management teams by providing accurate estimates that facilitate scheduling, resource allocation, and overall project planning. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating for both commercial and residential projects. Strong proficiency with Bluebeam for digital markup and document management. Familiarity with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is highly desirable. Solid understanding of construction estimating principles, cost control strategies, and pricing techniques. Construction site experience that provides insight into on-the-ground realities affecting estimates. Knowledge of construction management processes including contracts, project scheduling, and scope management. Excellent negotiation skills to secure optimal pricing agreements with vendors and subcontractors. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
