Candidate must have experience with millwork & door estimates and doing take-offs. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales/Estimator to join our growing construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, developing competitive bids, and fostering strong client relationships. Millwork & door company looking to fill a sales & estimation position. Candidate must have experience with millwork & door estimates and doing take-offs.

Job Description:

Review and interpret project plans and specifications to determine total costs of materials such as doors and trim work.

• Creating labor estimates for projects
• Analyze data and factors like materials, equipment and location to prepare detailed estimates.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and bids.
• Work alongside project managers to refine estimates and budgets.
• Maintain an up-to-date database with cost information on products, vendors, and subcontractors

Qualities:

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience as an estimator or similar role in the construction industry
• Effective communication skills
