We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator with a strong background in civil construction and land development for both residential and commercial projects. We have projects located within the greater Seattle area, North King, Snohomish County. Come join our K Con team!

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years' experience in civil construction estimating, specifically in residential and commercial land development. Proficient in Heavy Bid software. Extensive knowledge of underground utilities (sewer, water, storm drain), earthwork, and site grading. Strong understanding of soils and geotechnical reports, including swell/shrink factors and compaction requirements. Proven track record of successful bid wins on medium to large-scale site development projects. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates concurrently. Lead the preparation of cost estimates and bids for land development projects, including grading, utilities, paving, and related infrastructure. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, and site development from plans, specs, and soils reports. Analyze geotechnical reports, identify risk factors, and incorporate findings into estimates. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather data and verify scope. Review bid packages and contract documents to ensure complete understanding of project scope and client expectations. Prepare cost breakdowns, summaries, and bid presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other common estimating tools.
