What You'll Do Review customer drawings, CAD models, and RFQs Develop manufacturing plans and determine production methods Estimate labor, materials, machining, tooling, and outside processing costs Prepare customer quotations and manufacturing work orders Coordinate with vendors on materials and outside services Support production planning, scheduling, and job release activities Work closely with toolmakers, machinists, engineers, and leadership Identify manufacturing, quality, and tooling issues before production begins Help improve estimating accuracy and manufacturing processes Communicate with customers and vendors regarding technical requirements and delivery expectations What We're Looking For Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills Understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and precision manufacturing Knowledge of machining processes including milling, turning, grinding, and Wire EDM Experience with tooling, dies, fixtures, gauges, or precision machined components Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Comfortable using ERP systems, spreadsheets, and manufacturing documentation Excellent communication and organizational skills Ideal Backgrounds Tool & Die Maker Toolmaker CNC Machinist or Programmer Manufacturing Estimator Manufacturing or Tooling Engineer Process Engineer Production Planner Tooling Designer Toolroom Lead or Supervisor Nice to Have Progressive die or metal stamping experience Estimating experience Production planning or scheduling experience SolidWorks or CAD experience CNC programming experience ERP/MRP system experience Why Join Gromax?
