Kapco is looking for a Cost Estimator to join our Grafton, WI team. Come Together at Kapco Video Interpret engineering documents such as drawings, technical manuals and technical specifications
Examine documents (blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications) and verify completeness and accuracy of data
Confers with document originators and technical experts, and or customer's engineering liaison personnel, resolves discrepancies and implements required changes
Serves as customer liaison and reports customer concerns
Determines costs of processing products and provides quote information for customers
Investigates problems and initiates effective measures for their solution
Maintains an awareness of developments and technologies in the area of coating techniques, assembly processes and material control
Provides recommendations regarding feasibility of using alternative approaches, modifying or replacing processes to reduce costs or improve quality
Enters data and maintains related files
Participates on improvement teams, as needed
