Job description Building Materials Salesperson/Estimator Company Description Hartje Lumber is a leading provider of high-quality lumber and building materials, serving Wisconsin since 1969. Our team is dedicated to exceptional service and expertise on every project.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a hard-working individual to join our team. This role will be working closely with customers on both commercial and residential projects from start to finish. This will involve reading plans to give estimates, providing product information, and taking sales orders for the materials for the projects.
Key responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to customers in all aspects of communication. Answer questions about various building materials and products. Provide estimates for customers on commercial and residential projects. Take sales orders
Qualifications:
Prior experience in building material estimating/sales is greatly preferred. Education in a relevant field is preferred, but at a minimum a candidate must have general knowledge of building materials and construction. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and balance multiple projects at various stages. Excellent interpersonal skills.
