We are a growing company with 70 employees, 80,000 sq. ft. of space, and 66 CNC machines. Ideally, we are seeking an experienced Estimator who has a machining background and the ability to accurately estimate job costs. Familiarity with CNC turning centers, lathes, and horizontal machining centers is preferred. Duties Prepare accurate and competitive job estimates for customer quotes, factoring in materials, labor, machine time, and production complexity. Work closely with sales, CNC programmers, engineering, and operations to ensure estimates are technically sound and commercially viable. Act as a key liaison between departments. Ability to review and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to accurately estimate material requirements and labor needs. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors through negotiation to secure competitive pricing for materials and services. Prepare detailed quotes by analyzing project scope, reviewing contracts, and ensuring all estimates meet client expectations. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and internal teams to clarify project requirements, provide updates on estimate status, and address any scope changes or cost adjustments. Assist in managing multiple quotes simultaneously by prioritizing tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy in all estimates. Familiarity with managing contracts, project management principles, and cost control techniques within the manufacturing industry. •$1,000 Signing Bonus•Paid out at 90 days of full-time employment.
