Job Description
At CWWC, we specialize in high-end custom cabinetry and architectural millwork for mainly commercial projects. With a reputation for craftsmanship, precision, and exceptional service, we are proud to be a trusted partner to designers, builders, and business owners alike. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team and help us deliver excellence from concept to completion.
Position Summary:
As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects by preparing accurate and competitive bids. You'll collaborate closely with our design, production, and project management teams to ensure that every estimate accurately reflects our commitment to quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare detailed cost estimates. Quantify materials, labor, and subcontractor costs for cabinetry and millwork projects. Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and lead times. Collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure alignment on project scope and budget. Prepare and submit bid proposals in a timely and professional manner. Maintain and update estimating tools, databases, and historical cost records.Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in estimating within the cabinetry, millwork, or construction industry (preferred). Strong understanding of woodworking materials, fabrication processes, and construction terminology. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and shop drawings. Experience with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Excel etc.). Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.Working Conditions/Schedule:
