Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Estimator to join our growing construction team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing bids, and collaborating closely with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and successful project execution. Your expertise will help drive profitable growth by providing transparent, comprehensive estimates that reflect the scope and complexity of each project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile construction projects while honing your skills in estimation, negotiation, and project management. Responsibilities Develop detailed construction estimates by reviewing blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation using tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid software. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project scope, requirements, and constraints. Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground information relevant to cost estimation and project feasibility. Prepare comprehensive proposals that include pricing, cost control measures, and schedule considerations. Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure competitive prices while maintaining quality standards. Assist in contract review and support contract negotiations to ensure clear scope definition and risk mitigation. Monitor project costs throughout the bidding process and provide updates or adjustments as needed for accuracy. Support project management teams by providing accurate cost forecasts and contributing to overall project planning. Experience Must have 3 years of experience Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field within the construction industry. Strong proficiency with Bluebeam for digital markup and document management. Familiarity with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is highly desirable. Solid understanding of construction management principles, contracts, and project lifecycle stages. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, cost control, and pricing strategies within a construction context. Hands-on construction site experience is a plus, providing insight into real-world project challenges. Knowledge of construction site safety protocols, materials procurement, and subcontractor coordination is beneficial.
