Job Description Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Collaborate with project managers and architects to review project requirements and specifications. Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other project documentation. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Monitor and update cost databases to ensure accuracy and relevance. Present cost estimates and reports to stakeholders for review and approval. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend adjustments to project plans. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations. The Successful Applicant A successful Estimator should have: Experience with cost estimation in the construction industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and documents. Effective communication and presentation abilities. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with relevant software and tools for cost estimation.
