Overview Join our dynamic team as a Floor Installer and bring spaces to life with expert craftsmanship! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring vinyl plank flooring surfaces for multi family residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets high standards of quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities Measure and prepare surfaces for flooring installation using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure precise fit and finish Install vinyl plank with attention to detail and craftsmanship Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials Perform surface preparation tasks such as leveling, caulking, sanding, and water damage restoration to create optimal conditions for flooring installation Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project plans; interpret construction drawings for fixture installation or trim carpentry needs Conduct floor care maintenance, buffing, cleaning, and minor repairs to uphold quality standards during and after installation Assist with remodeling projects by installing cabinets, fixtures, or performing construction painting as needed; support concrete finishing or other related tasks in complex projects Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or related construction work; familiarity with the restoration industry is a plus Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, chisels, hammers, saws; proficient with power tools including drills and sanders Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and site safety protocols Experience with water damage restoration or floor care is advantageous; background in carpentry or handyman work is beneficial Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site during remodeling or renovation projects Valid construction site experience with a focus on precision craftsmanship and quality assurance Embark on a rewarding career where your skills transform spaces!
