In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of tile surfaces, including floors, walls, and backsplashes, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and durability. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with precision and care, delivering exceptional results that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling to new construction, utilizing your skills in tile laying and related trades. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar for tile installation Measure and cut tiles accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit specific spaces and designs Install tiles on floors, walls, countertops, and backsplashes following blueprints, schematics, or client instructions Apply grout, caulking, and sealants to ensure a finished look and prevent water damage or deterioration Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure precise placement of tiles Use carpentry skills for trim carpentry, fixture installation, and minor restoration work as needed Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and adhering to safety protocols on-site Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, flooring installation, tile laying, and general construction site work Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to tile installation projects Hands-on experience with hand tools such as trowels, cutters, levels, and caulking guns; proficiency with power tools preferred Background in restoration industry work or water damage restoration is a plus Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and finishing for seamless results Experience with cabinet installation, remodeling projects, or construction painting is advantageous Strong understanding of schematics for fixture installation and carpentry tasks within construction environments Join our team to bring innovative design ideas to life through expert tile installation!
