As we expand, we are seeking talented individuals who are eager to grow with us. The Company... We are currently looking for a Tile Installation Specialist Team Leader for our projects in the Greater Houston areas and surrounding regions for on going projects with marble and granite installation activities. It is to note that we have other projects in nearby states, and the person who is selected for this role might be asked to travel in the longer term upon project completion.
Your mandate:
As part of the construction team and under the direction of the Regional Directors, you will work in collaboration with the various teams and subcontractors on the different worksites for CMC USA. Main Responsabilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of tile installation crews on job sites Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and design specifications Plan and organize work schedules to meet project deadlines Assign tasks and ensure proper workflow among team members Install granite and marble panels on vertical wall applications using both a mudding technique and mechanical anchoring systems. Cutting and shaping of the stone to fit specific spaces using hand and power tools. Inspect surfaces prior to installation to ensure proper preparation Oversee surface preparation (leveling, cleaning, waterproofing, etc.) Monitor quality of installations to meet company and client standards Troubleshoot installation issues and provide technical guidance Train and mentor new and existing team members Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with workplace policies Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades Manage materials, tools, and equipment inventory on-site Cleaning and leveling surfaces before installation. If necessary, perform repairs and maintenance on new and existing marble and granite installations Receive and verify marble, granite and other stone deliveries shipped to worksites All other related tasks. Job Requirements Proven personnel management skills on a jobsite Ability to speak the English language, necessary (Speaking Spanish - an asset) Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely Ability to transmit written and oral instructions Ability rig larger panels using stone clamps and straps. Capable of lifting heavy objects, walking and standing for long periods of time while performing strenuous physical labor. Must be opened to travel for work during extended periods of time. Skill and experience with marble and granite stone setting. Ability to safely handle tools and equipment. Seeked Profile To possess a valid driver's license OSHA 30 training certification.
