Epoxy Flooring Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epoxy Flooring Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality epoxy coatings to various flooring surfaces, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and safety standards are met. Duties Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing to ensure optimal adhesion of epoxy coatings Mix and apply epoxy resins accurately according to project specifications and schematics Use hand tools and power tools to facilitate surface preparation, coating application, and finishing touches Install flooring components such as tiles or trim carpentry elements where necessary for comprehensive floor restoration Conduct water damage restoration processes on affected floors, including moisture testing and surface repairs Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, sealing, and polishing to achieve a professional finish Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure precise installation of epoxy systems and fixtures Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation, epoxy coating application, or related construction work with a focus on floors Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete refinishing, and floor buffing equipment Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow detailed instructions for complex projects Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills Ideal candidates will bring additional handyman experience or construction painting skills that complement flooring expertise.
