Full Job Description Required Skills and Qualifications:

Installers will be installing stage sets, backdrops, drape, ceiling treatments, etc. at various venues in the DC area Installers will unpack trucks at the install venue and use dollies to bring them to the correct location Installers will receive direction from the Design and Crew lead, receive floor plans, and follow build drawings to complete all tasks needed for the event Post-event, installers will break down all scenic elements and load them back into the truck Installers are expected to maintain the quality of props & scenic elements upon loading & unloading Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs Must have flexible availability (nights and weekends) Must have good problem-solving skills Must be prompt and on time 1-2 years of experience in moving or assembly Rigging experience (preferred) Carpentry experience (preferred) Drape experience (preferred) Social Supply is an event design and production agency that specializes in event decor for social, corporate, political and nonprofit events. We offer anything from stage sets, step + repeats, custom backdrops/signs, signature rentals, art installations, and any other decor or design guidance. Recently, we have also been expanding into retail and interior design projects which we also love working on.
